Diamond Jubilee Dinner

On June 20th, 2008, we celebrated our Diamond Jubilee with a dinner at the Kings Gap Court Hotel in Hoylake.

Vivaldi was being consulted by the chairman at this point. DJD Vivaldi

The evening could not end without some speeches. Tony DJD Tony Speaking introduced

DJD Gordon speakingGordon and then DJD Jim speaking Jim, who had threatened to discourse at length on the technicalities of medieval part song but who of course did not.

The speeches over, the diners slowly dispersed, some to prepare to sing our celebratory "Messiah" the next day.
